His architectural office in Freiburg-Rieselfeld is currently planning the “Smart Green Tower”, a 51-meter-high residential and commercial tower located in Freiburg. The planning by Frey Architekten consciously departs from the common standard architectural aesthetics and relies on a building whose appearance displays the innovative photovoltaic concept.

Ground-breaking ceremony in Eichstetten

On 27th January 2015, the mayor of Eichstetten Michael Bruder invited Wolfgang Frey and locals to the groundbreaking ceremony for the current “infant day care and hall foyer” in the building complex of the school in Eichstetten am Kaiserstuhl.

A group of 20 tourism experts and local government officials from Tibet traveled through Germany in January 2015 for a study trip on sustainable tourism – a mentorship program of the German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation.

Vanke visting Frey Architekten

The 10-member group who came to visit on 22nd Jan was a delegation from the Chinese capital Beijing. It was made up of senior representatives of the Emerald Architecure Sci-ence and Technology Co. Ltd and Vanke. Vanke is the largest estate company in China which builds approximately 4 million square meters each year, and also acts as a major investor internationally.

Book: The Five Finger Principle

Hearty Welcome to a Delegation of Chinese Investors

Following the visit of representatives of HISUN Investment Group in Siemens Stuttgart back in June 2014, where the Smart Green Tower Freiburg was also mentioned, a Chinese delegation arrived on 8th January 2015 in Freiburg. The delegation constisted of representatives of CITIC – one of China’s largest state-owned investors. The reception took place on 8th January at the Siemens headquarter in Freiburg. Frey Architekten and Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe GmbH attended the meeting and discussed environmental technology, building technology and a possible coopera-tion in the future.
